I have used Ring Free Fuel Additive for over a year in my Merc 115 outboard. I have found it to improve the performance of my outboard and it increased the output by 200 rpms. Highly recommend it. Especially if you do any kind of slow trolling like I do for walleye.

I had a set of 4 carburetors on an older Honda that had been sitting for about 18 months - with today's "fuel" this is an almost certain recipe for carb problems. And sure enough, when got the plastics repaired and other issues that had sidelined the machine repaired, the bike would barely run and then only on full choke, with no throttle. The idea of pulling a tightly packaged carb rack, disassembling and cleaning four carbs, then reassembling and reinstalling just didn't appeal. Pulling the fuel line, draining the carb bowls, and refilling with a couple ounces of the additive and sitting for a week did the trick! Draining the concentrate from the carb bowls - it wouldn't start on the pure additive - and I know have a set of carbs that will allow the bike to run, idle, take throttle, and is now rideable - all with only the use of a screwdriver and a small hose - and no struggling with cramped spaces.

I have always been a skeptic of fuel additives. I have a Yamaha Raptor 660R ATV and it sat for 2months without being started. I pulled it 200 miles to the cabin and it started right up, but would not accelerate. It would just spit and sputter. The local dealer said to put in one 32oz bottle of Ring Free, so I thought I'd dry it----it would cheaper than a $250 carburetor rebuild. So, I put in one 32oz bottle, let it sit for 1/2hr, it started right up but it still sputtered when accelerating. After about 2min of running at idle, it accelerated like it was new. It sure made a believer out of me.
