I am very happy with this purchase. I bought these shoes strictly for indoor cycling. I have been spinning on and off for almost a decade and I finally decided to buy a cycling shoe. Be advised, this shoe feels more like a running shoe and does not have a hard sole. However, it is extremely comfortable and very effective as an indoor cycling shoe. It does not come with cleats so you have to get them separately. They are very cool and airy, very comfortable, fit perfectly. I wanted shoes I could walk comfortably in and not feel the cleat clicking around underneath me, and not feel like I am tearing up the cleat by walking on it. These shoes do all that. But it has two positions for the cleat, and they are both too far back, or at least it feels that way to me. I rode with SPD shoes/pedals/cleats for years, and never felt that way. Now I am on Crank Brothers pedals/cleats, and it feels like my foot is a little too far forward, and the pedal axle might not be exactly under the ball of my foot, even those these shoes fit my foot very, very well. I'm new to clipless cycling. I understand that these shoes may not be sufficient for all types of cycling. They're perfect for me, however. These shoes are light weight and not very stiff. They fit just like a running shoe. I found that shoes with Velcro straps were uncomfortable across the top of my foot. Also, Fuels hold my heel in place securely. The metal cleat attachment can be adjusted forward and back for a personal fit. I like not being intimidated by a cycling shoe! These are excellent. |
